payment & process guidelines

  1. if i, the artist, want to accept your request, i will contact you by email or DM to discuss details and payment.
    1. i retain the right to decline a commission request.
    2. i retain the right to close commissions at any time.
  2. when the request is confirmed, the slot will be considered taken and added to the commission queue. please be aware there may be a waiting time of up to several weeks before i can begin your commission.
    1. the commissioner is welcome to drop their slot without any penalty during this time.
    2. dropped slots are not guranteed to reopen and/or carry over as a future commission slot.
  3. i will always notify the commissioner when i am ready to begin the artwork and if they would like to continue. if so, i will send the invoice.
  4. payment through paypal is preferred. venmo upon request.
    1. after i have confirmed the price and details with you, 50% of the price must be paid upfront so i can begin the commission. at this point i will ask for your paypal email in order to send an invoice.
    2. the invoice will be completed in 2 partial payments - for example, the minimum payment for a $30 commission would be $15.
  5. once the first payment has been made, there are no refunds and the commissioner may not back out from their commission.
  6. i will send the rough sketch to the commissioner for approval before moving onto lineart and color. any last minute changes must be made at this point and cannot be adjusted once the artwork is complete.
  7. completion will be anywhere within 1-3 weeks from the first payment.
    1. i have a full-time job, so commissions are my second priority and may take longer to complete because of this.
    2. i will give status updates as necessary. the commissioner is welcome to check in if they’d like to, but please be reasonable and mindful.
  8. the final artwork will only be sent once i have received the payment in full.
    1. the commissioner does not need to fulfill the invoice at the exact day of completion, but i will not send the artwork until it is paid. i can be flexible - just ask! (i.e. fulfill payment 1-2 weeks after notice of completion)
    2. if the invoice is not fulfilled within a reasonable amount of time OR without any update from the commissioner, the artist retains the right to take any necessary action of his own accord, with paypal, and/or by other means.
  9. tip is appreciated but very optional!
  10. the artwork is sent via Google Drive in full color, 350DPI as a PNG, PSD, and CLIP file.
